Makena Beach is steps from the property, and offers a quarter-mile of white sand and lounge chairs. The beach activity desk can arrange numerous water excursions. The hotel's central feature is an Asian meditation garden and open-air atrium, featuring waterfalls, streams, carp, and stone pathways. Those that do their best meditating while swinging a nine-iron will want to check out the resort's 18-hole golf course located on 1,800 tropical acres.
