A small country inn (just 60 rooms), the Wort is decorated in a New West style with lodgepole furnishings and western inspired fabrics and accessories. Enjoy complete room service from the Silver Dollar Grill or join in the fun in the restaurant's lively bar, (the bar counter is inlaid with 2,032 original silver dollars), for some live bluegrass from Steam Powered Airplane, a local band, and the city's best buffalo burgers. The Wort Hotel is also the perfect stepping off point for day trips north to the Tetons, Jackson Lake, Grand Teton National Park and Yellowstone.
An activities coordinator is at your disposal to help you plan your vacation activities including; alpine skiing, cross country skiing and snowmobiling in the winter and white-water rafting, horseback riding and hiking in the summer. During the winter The Wort Hotel also serves as apres ski headquarters when your return from a hard day on the slopes at the Jackson Hole Ski Resort or Grand Targhee.
